NaBloPoMo - December: Mitzvah

I joined the National Blog Posting Month community (too late, of course, to do NaBloPoMo for November 2009 - but there's always next year), and one of the cool things they do is a "monthly theme."  The idea is to encourage bloggers to post every day for the month, on the established theme. It's not a "contest" in the way that the annual November NaBloPoMo kinda is, but more of a structure and challenge to encourage daily writing (and posting).

So, I'll try it.  Below is the description from the NaBloPoMo "boss" of the December theme.  My actual post on the theme will follow (separately).

For those of you looking to take another crack at daily blogging, the theme for December is MITZVAH and it comes with a challenge: to give something, to someone, every day of the month, and then blog about it. The goal is to act with kindness, obviously -- I don't want to be responsible for people giving each other black eyes. Your gifts can be as large as volunteering or donating to charity, or as small as a kind word to someone who needs it.

We'll see how this goes!
