LOVE these black boots from Nine West! I got them last January (almost a year ago) while at a conference up north. The heel had been in the process of breaking on my old pair of (cheap, crappy) black boots for several months, and my search for an acceptable replacement was growing a bit frantic. These are SO wonderful - real leather uppers but with a rubbery bottom that resits snow and ice and salt, a heel just high enough that all my barely-too-long pants now stay off the ground, and SO COMFY! They go great with jeans or nicer slacks, which means that in the winter I wear them several times a week.
