Explain something to me: Months ago, when the economy really started tanking, politicians in Utah said that they wanted to "hold public education harmless" in the face of looming budget cuts.
Today the Education Appropriations Committee talked of cuts of up to $90 million in education budgets in this state.
But funds are being increased for road construction projects.
What am I missing here???
