Uh, yeah, most frequently as a nerd.

At the moment, my pony-print slippers. Earlier when I was wearing actual shoes they were Nikes.

Either in Las Vegas or Salt Lake City. We have Maverick, which is way cooler, and there’s now one at the highway corner a half-mile from my house.

My usual prescriptions and a lot of Motrin for my messed-up back.

Uh, that would be NONE – I have two excellent digital cameras (an SLR and a great point-and-shoot), plenty of memory cards, and my trusty iPhoto.

They’ve all had their plusses and minuses.

Laziness and procrastination (mine, that is).

Well, I hate to fly and have plenty of debt to pay off, so I’m thinking the MONEY.

In a cabin on the Russian River in Gurneville, CA. It was a work-related retreat, and we went scrambling out of there to get home because we were afraid they would close the bridges in the Bay Area. After that I was in my apartment in North Oakland.

No tattoos! They don't appeal to me whatsoever.

Pretty recently, actually.

Nope. And don't want to.

My first love was Hawkeye Pierce in the M*A*S*H TV show, so whatever was last in the news about Alan Alda, I suppose.
47. How far back do you know about your ancestry? Not very, though that’s a huge pastime in this state. Makes me even more of an outlander.

Oh, heck, I can’t even remember. I think I’m going to have to fancy up a little for an awards dinner at a conference next week, though.
