Amy's bookshelf: read
I didn't really love it... I wanted to, as the premise was interesting, but there was some gratuitous violence that almost felt sadistic to me, and I didn;t love that in a young-adult book.
A decent story - I like the Ali Reynolds character and her story lines, but I felt like this book could have had more depth. Too short!

Typical gloppy Macomber. I read it in bed in a hotel room while at a conference. That's about the right level of importance such books receive from me!
I love Laura Lippman, and enjoy her "other" books just as much as the Tess Monaghan series. This one had some things in it that I found a bit implausible, but it was an entertaining read nonetheless.
