Teriyaki Marinade

Teriyaki Marinade

This works well for either a pork loin roast or beef London broil (score the London broil in a criss-cross pattern on both sides with a sharp knife)  - it's probably too strong for chicken.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  
Directions:
  1. In a small mixing bowl (or cereal bowl) combine the soy sauce, sugar and ketchup. Stir well to mix.
  2. Place meat in a resealable bag and add marinade.  Allow to marinate in refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.  Slosh the bag around and turn it over occasionally to thoroughly marinate the meat.
  3. Drain the marinade (do not re-use) before baking or grilling the meat.
