Menus 6/14/10 - 6/20/10


Here's what we're eating this week:
  • Zesty Chicken in the CrockPot with leftover Cowboy Mashed Potatoes and green salad.  The chicken is a whole, Coleman organic chicken from Costco.
  • Savory Cheese Soup (meatless*) with sliced baguette and green salad.
  • Super Bean Burritos (meatless*), which include brown rice and cheese, plus fixings (lettuce, tomato, sour cream, etc.)
  • Grilled Aidell's chicken sausages (chicken and apple, and a spicy version) with corn on the cob and green salad. Maybe also some sweet potato oven fries, depending on if I have time to prep them.
  • Pulled pork tacos with green cilantro dressing, cilantro-lime rice, and homemade ice cream and brownies (this will be our Father's Day meal). I use the vanilla ice cream recipe from the Cuisinart ice cream maker instruction book, which is wonderful! Even better because we use organic whole milk and cream, mmmmmmmm!
